BUSINESS MANAGEMENT TIPS
Hello friends, trust you are doing great.
There are different management tips, things you should know
to be able to manage your businesses effectively and efficiently, different
books and articles have been written at different several times by different
several people. Today I will share with you three of those Management Tips that
I can assure will make your task more productive.
Let’s get it on.
1.
SELF
DISCIPLINE; Self discipline is hard work, but to take your business to the
next level, you need to make a conscious effort to maintain your discipline and
do the things that you need to get done. Discipline is important, it is key to
getting things done, because discipline entails that there are times you need
to do things against your will. You need to get a task done or tidy up your
presentation papers for tomorrow and you’re tired, you want to take a nap and
get some sleep, but discipline will tell you that you can’t have none of that,
you need to stay awake until you have accomplished your task.
2.
GET MORE
THINGS DONE BEFORE NOON; try as much as you can to complete more than half
your tasks for the day before noon (12pm), which is the half time of your 8am
to 4pm. In sports, the team ahead by halftime is more likely to win the game
although this is not always so, because some teams will go to sleep thinking
they are already cruising to victory, but to be on the safe side, at least try
and lead by half time, accomplish some of your task for the day before noon,
this way you will enjoy your lunch. Some folks make the mistake of not getting
busy early enough thinking they have the whole day to themselves, and before
you know it, suddenly it’s 12.59pm and things get into rush mode.
3.
BREAK
PROJECTS/TASKS INTO PARTS; have the habit of always dividing projects into
parts, and attend to the one after the other. Don’t try to do everything all at
once, don’t attempt to do many different things at the same time, rather you
should break projects and tasks for the day into parts, based on priority, and
more importantly always endeavor to get the more difficult and more tedious
tasks first. Take on the longer and difficult projects and tasks at the
beginning, and attend to the shorter and easier ones later, because the truth
is; if you leave the longer, difficult and tedious ones for the last, it’s very
likely you get tired, run out of steam, and lose interest, after having
attended to the shorter and easier ones first.
I wish you the very best in your business life.
The Business Guy.
